Sea to Shore Alliance logo transformation

This is a sample of a transformation I proposed for Sea to Shore Alliance's main logo. Since I have received tons of feedback that the original logo (at the top) is completely abstract, and it even took me a few months to find out what it represented, I was determined to make the graphic more obvious and less abstract. The bottom is the rough product, a similar logo with more clear wave shapes and seagrass along a coast, with the organization's name in a more modern font.
